Notice for PhD Interview (Short-listing) at Centre for Integrated Health for Cancer Prevention and Control of SGCC&RI, MG Road, Thakurpukur, Kolkata

Date of Interview for short-listing: 25 March 2019, 3 PM
The interested candidates (self-financed) who completed   Masters  or M.Phil  or about to complete  within a month  (from the date of this notice) from any recognized University Institute/ College of India  or equivalent qualification from abroad are eligible to apply for PhD degree  programme at Saroj Gupta Cancer Centre & Research Institute (A sister institute for PhD degree programme under Calcutta University, the Institute of Biotechnology, Ballygunge Science College, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The selected candidates have the scope for writing grant application after publishing a review paper on the topic. The research may be advised by the faculties (voluntary) from Japan, UK and America and jointly published. Provision of recognized Co –supervisors will be a need of a topic related to biotechnology and re- generative medicine, and will be arranged. The candidates want to carryout research in regenerative medicine related to cancer in collaboration -- are also encouraged. The candidates must meet the requirement and follow the set regulation by Calcutta University as per UGC norms and the Centre of the SGCC&RI
Arrow Eligibility: The candidates with the background of medicine, dentistry and allied- health science/ HR related to health with masters qualification/ or equivalent can apply.

Please note: The candidates must reach for reporting 10 mins before the schedule time. They need to bring a complete CV and attested copy of certificates, testimonials. The candidates who are about the complete their Master/ M.Phil course may need to show the evidence  or a letter of testimony from his/her tutor or head of the Institute/ College, mentioning -- the candidate's status of studentship, and no objection for PhD application.
