World Environment Day being observed at SGCCRI, Thakurpukur, on 9th June, 2018

World Environment Day being observed at SGCCRI, Thakurpukur under the leadership of Mr Subhash Guha Neogi, our Governing Body Member, Past President of Agri Horticultural Society. He remains an active member at 91 years, in our Hospital activities, esp in our Environment monitoring, maintaining the unique ambience for the cancer victims. He was supporting Dr Saroj Gupta with his mission of setting up a Cencer Hospital for all strata of the society since 1973.

Founder's Day(5th December 2017)

Founder's day was observed on the 5th December, 2017, the 88th Birth anniversary of our Founder Dr Saroj Gupta (44th Anniversary of SGCCRI). Blood Donation Camp was organised in the morning where many members of the staff and Management donated blood. In the evening, a Drama “Balavpurer Rupkatha” written by Sri Badal Sarkar, was staged by the members of the management & Staff of this Institute. The lively performance of all the actors was thoroughly enjoyed by everybody in the audience. This programme was inaugurated by Smt Chandrima Bhattacharjee, Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Sri Jogesh Datta, Eminent Mime Artist of national and international repute was present as the Guest of Honour.

The same drama was staged again on the 9th of December 12, 2017 at ‘Ahindra Mancha’ as a fund-raising event in aid of the under-privileged patients of the hospital.

Walkathon for Fund Raising in association with Ladies Study Group (2nd December 2017)

Ladies Study Group in association with Saroj Gupta Cancer Centre & Research Institute, (SGCCRI) organized a 5 Km “Women's Walkathon” at the 'Bengal Rowing Club' on 2nd December 2017. Around 300 Members and Friends of LSG gathered to “Walk for Thakurpukur”, aiming to create awareness and raise funds for the project (modernization/upgradation of patients’ kitchen) at our institute. We are thankful to Mrs Namrata Sureka, the President of Ladies Study Group for her commitment to support us for the development of the Institute. This Walkathon had an overwhelming response and was acclaimed by one and all. As a Ladies Study Group CSR, this was an initiative for the cancer

struck children and reaches out to the needs of the society at large. The walk started from Bengal Rowing Club. This was attended by many eminent personalities of the city - Mr Masayuki Taga - Consul General Japan, Ms Meeryung Hall –Wife of US Consul, Agnimitra Paul, Rita Bhimani, Kiran Uttam Ghosh, to name a few. Smt Sumangala Birla handed over a donation to Sri Anjan Gupta, our Hony Secretary,.


Children’s Day (14th Nov, 2017)

The Hospital has been celebrating Children`s Day in a big way since 2002 to put smiles on the faces of children suffering from cancer. On 14th November, 2017 for the16th consecutive year, a Sit & Draw competition was held for which all the participating children were given prizes. The Judge, eminent Artist Sri Somnath Chowdhury of Tulika Art School, also spent time to teach the children how to sketch. Recitation by Ms. Chandrima Roy & Children of Kabitay Kathalap, followed by Magic show by our own Dr. Sanmay Ganguly entertained the audience.

Visit By Ladies Study Group (7th November 2017)

Members of the Ladies Study Group visited our hospital on 7th November, 2017 for the purpose of a Fund Raising programme for our Institute. Mrs Namrata Sureka, President, Ladies Study Group and her team were very impressed with the activities and ambience of the Institute. A short variety entertainment programme with a magic show by Dr Sanmay Ganguly, Consultant Radiotherapist, SGCCRI, was organized along with a tour of the hospital which ended with a joy ride in a Toy Train around our campus.

Independence Day & Janmastami Celebrations (14th August 2017)

Avariety entertainment programme was organized by the Child patients of our Institute and the children from CanKids on the eve of Independence Day on 14th August, 2017. Independence Day was celebrated like every year with Flag hoisting. All patients were given special meal to celebrate this auspicious day.

Raksha Bandhan (7th August 2017)

On 7th August, 2017, Raksha Bandhan was celebrated, in the Children’s ward, with the initiative of Rotary Club of South City. The programme was graced by Rtn Shyamashree Sen, District Governor of Rotary Club of Dist 3291 along with many other Rotarians of the district. Some special children were felicitated on this occasion.

Friendship Day (6th August 2017)

Friendship Day at SGCCRI was celebrated by Rotaract Club Jadavpur on 6th August 2017. The Rotaractors visited our Child Care Unit with goodies and tied Friendship bands on the hands of the children in our ward. It was a joyful event for the children.

RathYatra (24th June 2017)

Like previous years the day was celebrated on 24th June, 2017 by our children who had decorated a chariot and organized a procession inside our hospital premises. Sweets were distributed to all the children and parents.

Cultural programme by members of All India Radio (11th June 2017)

Like previous years, the members of AIR, under the leadership of Sri Moloy Ghosh, organised a programme for the entertainment of patients and their families on 11th June, 2017 in our Auditorium. Many artists took part in the cultural programme. Refreshments and gifts were distributed among the children present.

7th Anniversary of Dr Saroj Gupta (21st May 2017)

7th Anniversary of our Founder Late Dr. Saroj Gupta was observed on 20th May, 2017. A Blood Donation camp was held in-house. Many of our Staff and patient-relatives voluntarily donated blood for our patients.

A book launch event, “Dr. Saroj Gupta Rachana Sangraha”, collection of short stories, written by our Founder, Dr. Saroj Gupta was held at Nandan 4 on 21st May, 2017 evening to commemorate his 7th Anniversary. Mr. Soumitra Chattopadhyay was present on this occasion as ‘Chief Guest’ along with Mr. Goutam Ghosh, ‘Guest of Honour’. A story from the collection was read out by Mr. Jagannath Bose and Mrs. Urmimala Bose which was highly appreciated by the audience. The programme was very well conducted by Mr. Debasish Bose. It was announced that the proceeds from the sale of the books would be utilized for the welfare of the poor patients of our hospital.

International Nurse`s Day (12th May 2017)

Like every year, International Nurses Day was celebrated in the Nursing Block of SGCCRI on 12th May, 2017 where academic discussions and motivational speeches highlighting the role of Florence Nightingale in establishing modern nursing practices were held.

‘Naboborsho 1424’was ushered in by a musical event titled CHETONA, a project of cultural outreach of Shaili Academy of Music by Smt Esha Bandyopadhyay & Sri Partha Bose in the Hospital Auditorium on 19th April, 2017.

Kolkata Gives Foundation (16th April 2017)

Our institute was invited to participate in the 4th Annual Philanthropic Exhibition, a fund raising event for our under privileged patients. This was organized by ‘Kolkata Gives Foundation’ at Park Plaza, Kolkata,on 16th April, 2017. The response was overwhelming & the two day fair organized by the eminent real estate developers & Industrialists of the city was very successful. They have donated an artificial arm to one of our Paediatric survivors, Debraj Chatterjee & also donated a Video Bronchoscope equipment.

An Aquarium was installed in the Child Care Unit of the Institute on 13th April, 2017 donated by Rtn. Anita Nan. Banerjee. This was inaugurated by Rtn Shymasree Sen, District Governor 3291.The children were very excited and happy for the new addition to their ward.

44th Anniversary Celebration (25th March 2017)

A fund raising programme was organized at Rabindra Sadan on 25th March 2017, to commemorate the 44th Anniversary of our Institute. The drama ‘Karkat Lagna’,written by Dr.Saroj Gupta, was staged by the Management and staff of the Institute. The drama was preceded by a dance performance of one of our paediatric cancer survivors Anjali Roy, along with a slide show of paintings of Debraj Chatterjee,also a Cancer Survivor. The dignitaries present were Ms Nandita Roy, Mr Shiboprosad Mukherjee and eminent actress Ms Soumili Biswas, Ms Swagatalakshmi Dasgupta enthralled the audience with her wonderful musical renditions that kept the audience spellbound. The proceeds collected from the Fund- raising event would go to the welfare of the under privileged child patients of the hospital.

Inauguration of OT Machines (1st March, 2017)
Three new OT machines (Lower Tract Urology Resectoscope, Laparascopic Instrument, and Vessel Sealer System) were inaugurated at the SGCC&RI operation theatre by the Chief Guest Mr. V. Satish Kumar, CEO of Indian Oil Petronas Pvt Limited. These three machines were sponsored by Indian Oil Petronas Pvt Ltd under their CSR Grant.

SASICON 2017 (24th - 26th February 2017)
SASICON 2017 (Annual Conference of Association of Surgeons of India, West Bengal) was hosted by Saroj Gupta Cancer Centre & Research Institute, Thakurpukur, Kolkata on 25th & 26th February 2017.

A pre-conference Live Workshop was held on 24th Feb where 7 Live Operations were performed free of cost.

A Laparoscopic Colo-rectal Surgeons & Laparoscopic Inguinal hernia was performed by eminent Laparoscopic Surgeon Dr. Senthilnathan from Coimbatore.

Whipple’s procedure was done by Dr. Shailesh Shrikhande , eminent GI Oncologist from TMH Mumbai.

Other surgeries proposed by our Local faculties were: Laparoscopic Bariatric Surgery on a 25 year old man with 115 Kg body wt by Dr. Sarfaraj Baig, Chemoport insertion by Dr. Sanjit Agarwal, Modified Radical Mastectomy by Dr. Diptendra Sarkar & Inguinal Block discussion by Dr. Saradindu Ghosh.

Dr Gareth Morris-Stiff from Cleveland Clinic USA, showed the Audiovisual transmission was of High Quality & the wonderful Surgical demonstrations by the faculties were appreciated by all present.

Next 2 days conference was well attended & many eminent National & International Speakers delivered Lectures, Orations, took part in Debates & Panel discussions.

Many Post Graduate Trainees presented posters & free papers and top three scores won Awards & Certificates.

The conference was inaugurated by Dr Shashi Panja, Hon’ble Minister of Woman & Child and Social Welfare as Chief Guest. Souvenir was released by Sri Shaheb Chatterjee, eminent Film Actor & Singer.

A banquet dinner was held on 25th Feb, 2017 at Calcutta Club where there was “Practitioners Quiz” and Live Band. The conference owes its success to Dr. Somnath Ghosh & Dr. Gargi Bandyopadhyay (President & Hony Secretary respectively of ASI WB Chapter), Dr. Samir Bhattacharyya (Org. World Cancer Awareness Day (4th February, 2017)
Like every year, World Cancer Awareness Day was observed at the SGCC&RI Auditorium from 2:00 PM to 5:00 P.M. The theme for this year was the Survivors' Meet for Haemato Oncological Cancers (Paediatric and Adults). This was to encourage newly diagnosed patients and their families, and to make them understand that cancer is curable, especially if detected early and treated properly. Ms. Chaiti Ghoshal, the eminent Bengali Television & film actor, had very kindly consented to be our Chief Guest.

Nicotine Replacement Therapy Awareness Programme, February 4, 2017
A Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) Awareness programme was held at the SGCC&RI OPD for the benefit of our patients on February 4, 2017. Dr. Joygopal Roy (HOD Dental Surgery, Burdwan Medical College) was the Guest Speaker on this occassion.
8th East Zonal Oncology Symposium (21st January, 2017)
Like every year, in pursuit of academic excellence, we have organized the East Zonal Oncology Symposium (EZOS) for the 8th time at Saroj Gupta Cancer Centre and Research Institute (SGCCRI), Thakurpukur, Kolkata on 21st January, 2017. Like previous years the symposium was under the aegis of Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO). The theme of the symposium was “Impact of Basic Research on Cancer Care”. Eminent scientists as well as clinicians of national and international repute came to share their knowledge and experience in the field of cancer. Dr. Rajendra Toprani, Secretary, IASO, graced the symposium as our Guest of honour. Prof Lalit Kumar from AIIMS, New Delhi, and Prof M. Vijayakumar from Yenepoya University, Mangalore delivered orations in the name of Dr. Saroj Gupta and Mr. Henry Shaw respectively. Prof Ramesh K Bamezai from Jawaharlal Nehru University at New Delhi and Dr Nicholas J Roland from the University Hospital Aintree at Liverpool delivered keynote addresses. The daylong symposium saw deliberations on various aspects of cancer from Dr. Dipyaman Ganguly (Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, Kolkata), Dr. Sharmila Bapat (National Centre for Cell Science, Pune), Dr. Samit Chattopadhyay (Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, Kolkata) and Dr. Sharmila Sengupta (National Institute of Bio-Medical Genomics, Kalyani). There were panel discussions on “Impact of Basic Research on Breast Cancer” and “Impact of Basic Research on Ovarian Cancers, moderated by Dr. Samir Bhattacharyya (SGCCRI, Kolkata) and Dr. Rahul Roy Chowdhury (SGCCRI, Kolkata), respectively. Renowned clinicians as well as scientists participated as panellists to share their knowledge and experience. In addition, competitive poster presentation session saw about 40 young researchers from various institutes and university departments presenting their novel and interesting findings in the field of Cancer Biology. The conference was attended by about 150 delegate.

We hope that EZOS 2017 created opportunities for Scientists and Clinicians to join at an academic feast amidst the wonderful wintry weather of January.

Rath Yatra (July 6, 2016)
Rath Yatra was celebrated on 6th July in the hospital grounds. The highlight of the festival was the pulling of a highly decorated "rath" chariot by the paediatric patients through the pathways of the hospital.

World Environment Day (June 6, 2016)
World Environment Day was observed at SGCC&RI on 6th June, 2016. The day's programme started with DG Rtn. Jhulan Basu distributing Rotary school bags to the paediatric patients, followed by a cultural programme. The Rotarians gave a stirring musical performance, and the dance performance by the troupe of Anjali Roy and Kuntal Bardhan was well appreciated.

The nurses also performed some songs that highlighted the important role nurses play in providing patient care.

The Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited have been very kind to provide a CSR grant for new diagnostic machines (Vitek 2 Compact 30,  Automated Embedding Station, and BD Superpath DTS LBC System) that will aid in the detection of cancer.

Palliative Care course from 18th April 2016

The Saroj Gupta Cancer Centre will conduct a two-weeks course from 18th April 2016 in Palliative Care in collaboration with Pallium India, Kerala. This course is for doctors and nurses. Interested candidates are requested to contact at the below-mentioned e-mail address and number.

Eastern India Paediatric Oncology Forum conducted its 4th meeting at SGCC&RI on 12th March, 2016; with simultaneous Nurse’s Training Programme and Capacity Building Sessions, Parents' Support Group Meets, and Scientific Sessions by doctors treating childhood cancer in Eastern India under the organisation of Jiv Daya Foundation, USA, and Can Kids Kids Can, Delhi.

A Workshop and Certificate Course on Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) and Nutrition and Therapeutic Dietetics for Cancer Patients was conducted at the LINAC Seminar Hall of SGCC&RI on Sunday, 6th March, 2016. The Programme Director was the eminent Dr. (Prof.) Chitta Ranjan Chowdhury, who is associated with Nara Medical University (Japan), De Montfort University (Leicester, UK), and Nitte University (Mangalore, India).

World Cancer Day (4th February, 2016)
World Cancer Day was celebrated at the Auditorium of SGCC&RI on 4th February, 2016. The programme was supported by PwC SDC, Tablets India, and Sarabhai Chemicals (I) Pvt. Ltd. Our guests were the eminent Bengali film personalities Sabitri Chatterjee, Subhasish Mukhopadyay, and Ishita Mukhopadhyay. The programme highlights included an inaugural song by one of our survivor patients, a lamp-lighting ceremony, a perfromance by our child patients, a performance by the Rotaractors of Dist. 3291, and a musical session perfomed by our survivor patient and Jayati Chakraborty.

Bishwabhara Praan (9th January, 2016)

The Aesthetic Therapy Unit of the Antara Psychiatric Centre, Gobindapur, presented the composite programme "Bishwabhara Praan" commemorating the 10th death anniversary of Kalamandalam Guru Govindan Kutty. The programme was held at the Auditorium of SGCC&RI. The programme started with the welcome song "Momo Chitte", performed by the Antara Team. This was followed by a lamp lighting ceremony, and a poetry recitation by the Chief Guest, the renowned poet and professor Sri Ashoke Palit. The presentation "Muktir Gaan" was performed subsequently by the Antara team.

On 5th December, 2015, we celebrated the 86th Birth Anniversary our Late Founder Dr. Saroj Gupta. The day started with a blood donation camp in the morning within the premises of SGCC&RI. The second part of the celebrations started in the late afternoon with the garlanding of Dr. Saroj Gupta's statue. The Chief Guest Sri Susim Mukul Dutta, devotee of Sri Sri Mohananda Brahmachari, inaugurated the new "Sri Sri Mohananda Brahmachari Molecular Biology Research & Diagnostic Laboratory" at SGCC&RI. The highlight of the day of the performance of the play "Kanchan Ranga" by the staff and members of management of SGCCR&I.

World Hospice & Palliative Care Day (9 October, 2015)
The World Hospice & Palliative Care Day was celebrated one day early at the Saroj Gupta Cancer Centre & Research Institute. The event was sponsored by PwC SDC, Kolkata. Flowers, health drinks, small gifts, and literature on palliative care was distributed to patients.
Inauguration of New 16 Slice Spiral CT Scanner "Somatom Scope Power" (17 September, 2015)
A new 16 Slice Spiral CT Scanner was installed at the Saroj Gupta Cancer Centre & Research Institute under a Corporate Social Responsibility grant provided by Indian Oil Petronas Pvt. Ltd. This new scanner was inaugurated by Mr. Mrinal Roy, the CEO of Indian Oil Petronas Pvt. Ltd. Following the inauguration ceremony, speeches were given by Mr. Mrinal Roy, Mr. Jayanta Chatterjee (President, SGCC&RI), Mr. Anjan Gupta (Hony. Secretary, SGCC&RI), and Dr. Arnab Gupta (Director, SGCC&RI). The event concluded with Mr. Mrinal Roy being given a guided tour of the Institute, including a ride on the toy train.
Anti Tobacco Workshop (8, 9, 11 September, 2015)
An Anti Tobacco Workshop was conducted at the LINAC Seminar Hall, SGCC&RI on the 8th, 9th & 11th of September. The aim of this workshop was to promote awareness on how most of the preventable cases of cancer were related to the consumption of tobacco. The Chief Faculty member of this workshop was Prof. Chitta Ranjan Choudhury of the UK, who has already conducted similar workshops in the UK, Mangalore, and at our Institute.
Rath Yatra Celebration (18 July, 2015)
Like every year, Rath Yatra was celebrated by the paediatric patients at the Saroj Gupta Cancer Centre & Research Institute. The Rath was decorated by the paediatric patients themselves.
Ray of Sunshine (20 June, 2015)
The “Ray of Sunshine” was an entertainment programme organised for the benefit of our paediatric patients. The event was organised by Mr. Molay Ghosh of Akashbani Kolkata along with SGCC&RI. Mr. Molay Ghosh and his colleagues at Akashbani Kolkata had sponsored the event, along with Mio Amore, which had kindly provided cakes and food packets for the special guests and paediatric patients. The chief guest for the event was Justice Mir Dara Shekho, and was anchored by the Akashbani Kolkata artiste Mr. Kaushik Sen. Mr. Viswa Venkat Gantait (Nemathelminthes Section, Zoological Society of India) presented a fascinating audio-visual account of his recent expedition to the Antarctica. A short humorous play was performed by Akashbani Kolkata artistes Mrs. Arunima Ghosh and Mr. Arpan Kumar Sarma. The highlight of the day was a special performance by the renowned vocalist Mrs. Lopamudra Mitra.
World Environment Day (06 June, 2015)
One of the hallmarks of SGCC&RI is its concern and respect for the environment. The World Environment Day is observed by SGCC&RI every year, and this year's event was generously sponsored by Price Waterhouse Coopers SDC . The day's events started off with the plantation of saplings by Mr. Nirupam Sen (Secretary – The Agri-Horticultural Society of India) and Mr. Subhash Guha Niyogi (SGCC&RI). This was followed by the inauguration of our new gallery that pictorially depicts the journey of our Institute through time. The gallery was inaugurated by Ms. Ila Gupta, wife of our beloved Late Founder Dr. Saroj Gupta. The afternoon saw a special music festival blending classical Indian vocal performances with the sarod for alleviating stress and suffering. This eclectic session was performed by Sarod Baba Dr. Avijit Ghosh of the Senia Maihar Gharana, and Gayaki Mata Ms. Piyali Maitra, who sings in her own style, harmonising renowned gharanas.
Fifth Anniversary of our Founder Director (21 May 2015)
The fifth anniversary of our beloved Late Founder Director Dr. Saroj Gupta was commemorated on this day. A respectful memorial was observed by garlanding the statue of Dr. Saroj Gupta. A condolence meeting was also held at the auditorium. A blood donation camp had also been organised.

Foundation Oncology Skills for Paediatric Nurses (19 - 20 April, 2015)
This was a two-day workshop hosted at SGCC&RI and organised by the Paediatric Oncology in Developing Countries (CCLG sub-group) and the Indian Academy of Paediatrics (Paediatric Hematology Oncology Chapter). The workshop saw active participation from overseas, national, and regional faculty. The workshop was conducted by Michelle Dannatt (Royal Marsden Hospital, Sutton), Dr. Amita Trehan (PGIMER, Chandigarh), Dr. Sukhpal Kaur (PGIMER, Chandigarh), Dr. Soma Dey (SGCC&RI), Dr. Nirmalya Roy Moulick (SGCC&RI), and Dr. Partha Pratim Gupta (SGCC&RI).
General Fest (11 April, 2015)
A general fest was organised by Mr. Mahul Mukherjee of the NGO Resurrection for the entertainment of our child patients. A magic show was performed, and many jokes were shared in the pediatric wards. Resurrection also donated a packet of Bournvita for each child patient.
World Health Day (7 April, 2015)
A programme on Nicotine Replacement Therapy was organised with the sponsorship of Price Waterhouse Coopers SDC. The programme was coordinated by Dr. J. Sil and Dr. Saikat Deb, and was well received. Health drinks, small gift tokens, and NRT brochures were distributed to the participants.

Ballet Performance (31 March, 2015)
A special ballet was performed by the renowned Singing Fingers dance troupe for the benefit of the children admitted at SGCC&RI. The performance was choreographed by art director Mr. Arunav Gosthipathy, and organised by the Rotaract Club of the Heritage Institute of Technology.
Cancer Awareness Camp At PwC SDC (20 March, 2015)
SGCC&RI organised a cancer awareness camp sponsored by Price Waterhouse Coopers at its SDC office on 20 March 2015. Our Director Dr. Arnab Gupta & our Governing Body Member Dr. Gautam Bhattacharjee spoke about cancer awareness.
International Happiness Day (19 March, 2015)
This special day was celebrated at SGCC&RI along with the NGO We Can Cancer Cannot. A painting session was conducted by actress and painter Ms. Anindita Bose for the benefit of our child patients.
World Cancer Awareness Day (4 February, 2015)
Every year, SGCC&RI observes the World Cancer Awareness Day. This year's theme was a survivor's meet for paediatric and adult leukemia lymphoma. The event was sponsored by Sarabhai Chemicals Specialities, and organised by SGCC&RI along with the NGO We Can Cancer Cannot. The objective of this meet was to encourage newly diagnosed patients and their families by making them understand that cancer is curable, especially with early diagnosis and treatment. The cultural programme consisted of performances by child patients, the NGO We Can Cancer Cannot, and by one of our special guests, the famous classical singer and cancer survivor Mr. Prosenjit Chakraborty. The noted film director Mr. Raj Chakraborty was our other special guest.
Paediatric Surivirors’ Day Out at Haldia (10 January, 2015)
The Indian Cancer Society had specially invited SGCC&RI to take some of our child survivors on a tour to Haldia to commemorate the Indian Coast Guard Week. Dr. Shubhashis De and Dr. Soma De accompanied thirteen of our former child patients, many of whom are now in college. The entourage was welcomed at the Coast Guard Base by Assistant Commandant Prachi Gupta. The highlights of the day were a magic show, an exchange of gifts, an enjoyable lunch, and a hovercraft ride. A most enjoyable day for all!
Biswa Bhara Praan (5 January, 2015)
The Biswa Bhara Praan programme has been held regularly at SGCC&RI for several years. Organised by the NGO Antara, mentally challenged patients performed songs and dances from the “Robindranather Natoker Gaan” for the benefit of our patients. This chief guest for this year's programme was Rev. Philip Philip of the Marthoma Church.

Regular Blood Donation Camp
SGCC&RI associats with other organisations and social clubs to organise voluntary blood donation camps regularly at different places of Kolkata and the neighboring districts.
Weekly Entertainment for Paediatric Patients
Puppet shows are organised weekly at the SGCC&RI paediatric wards for child cancer patients with the cooperation of the Dhumketu Puppet Theatre.
Monthly Birthday Celebration of Paediatric Patients
Every month, SGCC&RI celebrates the birthdays of those child patients whose date of birth falls in that month. This event is sponsored by Rotaractors, Rotary Clubs, PwC SDC, and various NGOs along with individual donors. The celebration is well-received by our children patients, and much appreciated by their families.
